However, how much of the verbal information provided will be retained and able to be recalled after a few days pass?
The November meeting was originally billed as a Sharpening Discussion and not Favorite Tools Discussion along with homemade tools. If I had known that, I would have brought my "GO TO BOOK" on DIY woodworking tools.
I purchased the book Make Your Own Woodworking Tools by Mike Burton over 15 years ago. It went out of print and is now back on the market. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to make their own woodturning tools.
