Winkle is a Professor and Director of the School of Art, Craft & Design at Tennessee Technological University. Kimberly will demonstrate how to faceplate turn the seat, and spindle turn matching legs. Design and structural considerations will be discussed, as well.

President's Challenge
A native of Oklahoma, Kimberly Winkle is a maker who creates furniture and objects using wood and paint; her work displays a balance of form, color and surface pattern.
Larry Sefton has taken a class from Kimberly and states, "she is a master at using milk paint and this is a must-see demo". This most likely will be the same demo she did at the AAW symposium in 2023.
